Camerton is an English civil parish within the unitary authority of Bath and North East Somerset.
Camerton is a small rural parish in Bath and North East Somerset, approximately six miles south-west of Bath, in the picturesque Cam Valley. Home to around 550 residents in 300 dwellings, the parish covers an area of approximately two miles by two miles, with the Cam Brook running through it. Surrounded by rolling countryside, Camerton has a rich history dating back to Roman times and was once part of the Somerset coalfield.
Today, it retains its peaceful rural character and strong community spirit. Camerton Parish Council represents local residents, protects the parish’s heritage and environment, maintains community amenities and ensures residents have a voice in decisions affecting the area’s future.
